The Camdentown Story

The Camdentown Community is all about creating spaces with a purpose. 

While other parts of Minneapolis have received substantial investments, North Minneapolis and the Black Community have been largely overlooked—discriminated against and under-resourced for generations. 

Camdentown aims to right that wrong, acting as a north star for the future of community development. This is a place where Black joy, Black culture, Black excellence and Black ownership come together to create vibrant Black futures. 

Playing host to events like the National Night Out in Camdentown, to the annual BBQ and Blues Festival, Camdentown brings the people of North Minneapolis and beyond together to celebrate and love.

The successes of Camdentown will be applied to other underserved communities across the country, creating more equitable environments for all.
